Messaging Opt‑In Policy

Playvent uses messaging to streamline event planning communications. We only message users who have explicitly opted in.

How Opt‑In Works

• Invitees RSVP through a link or by entering a phone number on an event page.
• At that point, we clearly state: “By RSVPing or entering your number, you agree to receive event updates and reminders from Playvent. You can opt out anytime.”
• On confirmation, we store the consent flag, timestamp, and phone with the RSVP record.

What We Send

• Event invitations and RSVP confirmations
• Time‑sensitive reminders and host updates
